Dr. Tom Sutton, a native of the Texas Hill Country, is a 1978 graduate of Texas A&M University.  After practicing in the Houston area for 5 years, Dr. Sutton came to Austin in 1983 where he has devoted his time, care, experience, and love for practicing veterinary medicine for the past 24 years.

Dr. Sutton was the founder of Northwest Austin Veterinary Center, Lakeline Animal Care, and a co-founder of the  Emergency Animal Clinic of Northwest Austin.  He and his wife, Denise, have been married for 25 years and have two sons attending Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

The Hometown Animal Care facility opened in June, 2006 in Pflugerville Texas.  It is truly a state-of-the-art operation with a 8,000 square foot hospital, 3,000 square foot dog kennel, 45 runs which can hold 2 dogs, plus 4 large runs which can accomodate up to 4 dogs.  Their cat boarding “suites” are second to none including furniture and a window in every suite!
